Jools: Likes up-tempo 60’s mainly and likes to play records that haven’t been played for a while, or simply overlooked these days. A keen record collector, and a full time Northern Soul record dealer. He has record stalls at most of the countries weekenders, and a website at www.NorthernSoulScene.co.uk click the red text to go to his website...

Kyle: Has some amazing records, he’s still an active and keen collector, and always pulls some very nice sounds out of his record box. Up until recently he’s always played the earlier spots, but now he’s onboard full time, so he will be tempting you onto the dancefloor with his later spots too. A nice guy to talk to, and very knowledgable about soul records...

Note to our Guest DJ’s - We understand that your records are valuable, treasured and expensive items. Our equipment and sound system is first rate. We use Genuine Technics 1210 MK2 turntables and Concorde Cartridges. Each turntable is calibrated every time the equipment is setup on the day. Each tone arm is zero balanced, checked for ‘0’ anti-skate, and stylus tracking force is set at 3gms. The styli are checked and replaced regularly too. We have all DJ’d at certain clubs and have been expected to play our records on cheap poorly maintained ‘junk’ equipment. We respect our records and yours too. So please play with confidence, and be assured that your records are not going to be chiselled and trashed by too much weight, worn Styli, or just badly setup equipment.
